SecondSlip Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Yash Thakur seems like another Avesh. Not too impressed! @express bowling Sgattick10 1

Got outswing to RHB / inswing to LHB with 3 balls. 2 great slower balls. 1 for 19 from 4 overs. Should have been 2 for 16. Impressed ! Amongst all faster bowler Ashok has more skills, yorkers, slowerones, bumpers, can swing and seam. Gurnoor has high release with high pace Mayank is fastest of them all but if he does not crank it up he has no skills, but if he goes 150+ kmph he gets disconcerting bounce which no-one likes to face express bowling, tweaker and Sgattick10 1 2
Sgattick10 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Mayank gets his 3rd, luckily it was Rinku under the ball. express bowling 1
MK55 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I’m sure Mayank is a lock in the next series - in T20s. express bowling 1
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Mayank 4th over One wicket. 2 good yorkers both at 143 kph. Another attempted yorker at 145 kph. 2 good slower balls. Excellent ! Sgattick10, Need4Speed, Lone Wolf and 2 others 5
singhvivek141 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Happy that Mayank survived 3 back to back games within 4 days. Sgattick10, Need4Speed, Suhaan and 2 others 1 4

Short, fast-medium, not too accurate. There are many like him. Edited July 26 by express bowling Manucrick, SecondSlip, Mosher and 1 other 4
Sgattick10 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Mayank I believe is the highest wicket taker in the series with 5 wickets. express bowling 1
SecondSlip Posted July 26 Posted July 26 @express bowling @Mosher @tweaker How is Sushant Mishra? He was the joint highest wicket taker of SMAT 2025 with Ashok Sharma!
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 (edited) 20 minutes ago, tapandrun said: Amongst all faster bowler Ashok has more skills, yorkers, slowerones, bumpers, can swing and seam. Yes. Ashok just needs to increase his % of off stump directed balls. And reduce his % of short balls. 20 minutes ago, tapandrun said: Gurnoor has high release with high pace Yes. Plus Gurnoor gets outswing, steep bounce, seam both ways, has a good yorker and bumper and gets reverse swing too. 20 minutes ago, tapandrun said: Mayank is fastest of them all but if he does not crank it up he has no skills, but if he goes 150+ kmph he gets disconcerting bounce which no-one likes to face Nah ! Mayank got outswing, seam movement, is and was very accurate and has a decent yorker and slower ball. Edited July 26 by express bowling Sandz, Sgattick10, Suhaan and 3 others 6

Mosher and Suhaan 2
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 (edited) I got the feeling that Ashok had a niggle today. Was running in slower and less rhythmically than usual. Hence the slower than usual speeds, especially in his last 2 overs. Edited July 26 by express bowling MK55 and Mosher 2
Lone Wolf Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Good to have Ashok getting his maiden wicket.. otherwise it would have played on his mind in off season. Lots of cricket coming so all is not lost for him. Solid defensive skills shown.. Mayank undisputed star of the series.. absolute gun. That was some Jofra Archer esque bowling he has done in 2/3 games. High pace bounce movement, yorkers wow. express bowling, tweaker, bouncers and 2 others 5
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Yash Thakur conceded 45 runs against Zim in 4 overs. Catches were dropped off his bowling. But he is someone who is likely to get hit often enough due to his low release point and inadequate accuracy. tweaker and Mosher 2

Hopefully selectors keep all that in mind Ashok was brilliant in the field on the contrary. Tilak Rinku Ashok Surpuncture seem only fast movers in the field. express bowling 1

But becomes 0 for 13 off 2 overs due to 2 amazing misfields. i feel today he bowled as good Mayank , he should have got 2 to 3 wickets today. Actually i am impressed with all the three fast bowlers...all 3 bowled well. i feel Prince got a little lucky and he got few wickets else mayank, ashok and Yash thakur all three outbowled him. with the kind of impact ashok had left he should nt have been dropped in second match.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 26 Posted July 26 if i would be shreyas ..i would be screaming in the dressing room today at the fielding coach and even at the Spin bowling coach...abhishek bowled very badly. bishnoi bowled well. fielding ...so many fielders looked sub standard- not good enough to field and catch at international level. tilak, ishan, even vaibhav missed a catch , few more fielded very badly.

vishalvirsingh Posted July 26 Posted July 26 2 hours ago, express bowling said: Yes bro ! Yash T trying to eliminate competition. I would be very wary of him now. Don't know why Kishan did this. dear brothers ...everyone carries his own izzat- you have no idea the kind of humiliation one gets after one drops easy catches. this particular wicket keeper straight bounce of gloves ..ishan will be scolded and even joked off whole his life. the easy fileding lapse criticism never dies....yes when a fielder tries and misses a catch like today vaibhav tried hard and then ball came in and popped out from his hands...those misses are forgiven by coaches and coalegues. catches that mayank yadav and yash thakur missed and ishan kishen missed were easy catches and they may have to face fileding coach wrath and another class from LAXMAN. no one misses a catch by his own wish ..no one under performs by his own wish. some times a batsmen jst starts connecting from the first ball, may be some of the first balls he got were easy connects. I have played 20 CORPORTAE company matches and atleast 20 club matches which have been 20 over /35 over and 45 over matches( only 2) in Mumbai grounds ...below are the grounds that i have played in 1. azad- atleast 4pitches 2. cross- all the pitches i have played on including the last one which is fast/green 3. shivaji- 2 pitches on shivaji stadium dadar where sachin played a lot. 4. police gymkhana - tough wicket ..green wicket. 5. lower parel stadium- many company matches on this stadium ..we beat all banks except hdfc /icici bank 6. elf vengsarkar ground- again a greenish wicket ...very tough to bat on.
