Fiery 2nd spell by Gurnoor on a dead track with an old ball.

 

Bounced out a set batter.

 

Bowling with an old ball, he generated a lot of pace and bounce. Injured batters and had both the batters and keeper jumping. 

 

Bowled in good areas and mixed lengths really well.  Used his head.

 

Got consistent in-seam with the new-ish ball and some outswing with the older ball.

 

Has been the most impressive among our 3 quicks by a margin.

It would be stupid if it happens. Gurnoor has looked way better than Siraj and clearly better than Prasidh. 

 

Better than most spinners too.

Gurnoor  bowling like a dream in his 11th over.

 

Nasty bumper hits helmet.

 

And 5 really good top of off / channel balls at pace.  And seam movement both ways.

Decent but he has to bring something exceptional to the table.

Btw...that behavior from Shahrukh is pretty normal. No cricketer cares about fast bowling in India (except a few)....everyone is all about batsman & their friends in bowling.

 

 

Ambrish is an allrounder , also looks like he can increase his pace with time.

i think Prasidh and Siraj have been told to not stretch hard and just bowl with shorter run ups. Siraj was kind of tr9ying his inswing at may be 130k and even prasidh was damn slow. gurnoor worked hard and i just saw highlights , some of his bouncers on greener tracks could be nasty. he looked like ISHANT

They did not bowl with a shorter run-up.

 

And Prasidh was pretty quick half the time. But did not try that many bumpers.

Gurnoor bowled rhythmically. But never looked like he was putting in too much effort.

 

Looked fresh even near the end of the day.

i have a feeling Manav suthar and Gurnoor will play first Test.

 

Jaddu Siraj may play too. kuldeep may play ahead of Saransh.

When not bowling bouncers, Gurnoor needs to attack the off stump a bit more. And try some surprise yorkers too. 

 

Hardly any balls are hitting the stumps.

Auqib Nabi isn't really that accurate despite being a medium pacer.

 

Gives a boundary ball every over. 

 

27 runs from 5 overs and 0 wickets.

Can't understand the field set for Gurnoor's bowling style. 

 

Very few men in catching positions for his delivery types.
