Day 5 - 540 Balls

Plan: Survive 540 balls - That's what it boils down to. Saffies have done it on far more treacherous tracks. If Rahane and Rohit can survive first session, India can start dreaming of a draw. They should consider promoting Bhuvi ahead of Dhoni and Jadeja. Prediction: 8 down by lunch. All out with in 5 overs after lunch.

rahane and rohit need to just defend and see off the ball in the first hour. then dream of some runs. dont give your wicket away even for runs. cook will move eventually. bat 1st session without losing a wicket. remember england collapsed post lunch so we dont want that. Just take it easy, but be positive. defensive play from pujara and kohli and dhawan has cost us. very tough day indeed :( thats what happens when you play defensive negative cricket.

Tell me if even cricketics of all people would think a draw is possible?

Can't lose more than 1 wicket per session, and can't get down to the Shami end of the tail. Rohit-Rahane past lunch Rahane-MSD to tea MSD-Jaddu to drinks Jaddu-BK to the finish line All 5 of these guys are going to have to be at their most disciplined for us to pull this off. I can't wait to see the look on Cook's face!

More worried about their part timers than the seamers.
If we're still batting after tea the pressure is truly going to be on Captain Cook. He won't dare using part timers anymore. As bad as we have batted so far, with a little bit of discipline we can put the pressure right back on England, and when they're under pressure they start to sink. Just need a very patient and careful approach tomorrow.

O Bhai... When we have to lose wickets, we will... Part-Timer or Full-Timer, doesn't matter...

O Bhai... When we have to lose wickets' date=' we will... Part-Timer or Full-Timer, doesn't matter...[/quote'] Still batting after tea? lol we would do well to reach tea without being all out. The same thing that happened at Lords will happen here. Englands ego against short balls from indian trundlers got to them and Indias ego against mediocre spinners will get to them.

too many overs man. If 90 overs are bowled no way its happening. but Im gonna cling on to that fairytale bs hope anyway :finger: At least need to get to tea losing 2 wickets max. Rohit should pull off a Tendulkar he saved a test here early in career. Or other :mi: Rahane.
