He said he was happy that we have someone who can bowl bouncers at pace that can trouble opposition batsmen. Not sure if that is good or bad for us, as it seems Aaron's role from here will be to bowl short at England batsmen, but at least Dhoni seemed to recognise the value of extra pace in the side.

It was poor decision from him too. Could have gotten over that 100th 100 without any BS drama that started with the England tour. That was one of the major reasons for his downfall in the last 2 years.

He has played a genuine swing bowler in England, supported hostile fast bowling from Ishant and Aaron. Generally recognized the need for good deck hitting pacers and combined some genuine fast and swing bowling in his attack. His field placements and use of bowlers , in terms of when to bowl, has still remained weird though ... along with usage of spinners. Sadly, at this very point in time, the successful batters in SAF and NZ are failing all at the same time. The team needs some motivation from the top.

True, there are ways to be more serious and candid, and take responsibility without berating one's players. That said, I still don't believe he is truly happy with the progress; I think he is just covering up for his guys.
