In this case there is an option to simply donate money instead of taking the challenge. That way you would actually contribute towards fighting the disease and won't waste water.

beetle Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 bathing is a necessity ...pour Ice water as a challenge is not.I agree it is not much...but celebrities refusing to waste water means a lot for water conservation where a large number of people do not have access to potable water.It is symbolic and this way you get money for charity(the real reason for the challenge) and support. the best option would be to do the challenge while reusing the water and writing a cheque.This is a three in one .... support the cure for the disease. Donate for it support water conservation too.:two_thumbs_up:

I am 100% behind research and development on various diseases. But using it to enrich one's life is simply not on. India has 100s of problems before ALS to support.
