kosingh Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 To me his style looked like Suresh Raina....lol
zep1706 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Still the best' date='I tried many stat filters over the years but he still came out on top.[/quote'] Sachin's record in SA is very interesting. He has a poor record at one ground (Dubran) and that brings his average down. Excluding Durban he averages 58+ in SA from 11 matches, including Durban 46+ from 15 matches. I am not sure why he failed so badly there. Durban was the fastest pitch in SA (not anymore) but pace was never his concern. He has good record at WACA which is even faster. Something did not click for him there.
nballa Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 what do you mean indian? that match was SA vs west indies. hence the name connor Williams.

You just don't feel right mentally maybe. On OP, some of the shots were breath taking actually.
virufan Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 He looked good but got out playing away from the body like Gambir etc. So it would be difficult for him to bat overseas
virufan Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Other than sachin, dravid nobody is good from the recent past

It used to be green and used to have a lot of seam movement and extra bounce which was not the case at Perth. Apart form 2012 India series, I have never seen much green grass at Perth. Perth is a hard bouncy track where you get some swing time to time due to Freemantle Doctor.

skindia Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Gagan khoda>ganguly>laxman>connor but didnt get chance
FreakazoiD Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Gagan khoda>ganguly>laxman>connor but didnt get chance Vijay Bharadwaj > Gagan Khoda
rkt.india Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Gagan Khoda was a curious case. played 2 ODIs was very slow but still scored runs albeit against BD and Kenya and never played again.
Crookbond Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 At one point of this game, Ganguly had 9 fielders for Venkatesh Prasad on the ropes and Shaun Pollock still managed to hit him for a boundary!
vvvslaxman Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 S Ramesh scores runs against quality attack. He had a loose technique. But a great timer.

vvvslaxman Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Guys like him must be pissed off they were born in different era. He probably would have had a shot at the IPL and made some money.
