Banks have been hit with so many millions of funds that they have now extra ordinarily careful about any funds routed in the middle east. Other channels are available but then again, due to the constant looming threat, they are not as widespread. With oil prices falling by half, usual funding sources too have dried up.

Lack of fighters in ISIS zones of Indian origin is a poor metric. There are multiple factors from cost of the flight as a raito to salary to Indian security forces being vigilant to many families relying on their males to earn so they cant ditch their family etc. IMO its wrong to speculate. Nobody really knows the true nature and degree of sympathy etc for ISIS in India. IMO, the majority of Indian Muslims have not got radicalized. Many of them will have the resources to bear the expenses of making the trip. Some of them might sympathize with that cause, but they have their families at a higher priority. Watch the interview done by that guy who handled the Twitter handle with the British journalist. He mentioned specifically that his parents need him for financial support, which was the only reason he did not go out there. The second reason here is that the handful that did go there found themselves doing mundane tasks like washing clothes and cleaning vessels. The movement has been hijacked by the Europeans. Indians who went there ended up doing janitorial tasks. Nobody, however radicalized, would want to go there just to do these kinds of tasks.

The group is being questioned by Bengaluru police and central agencies after they arrived at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Sunday. These are just foreigners, not Indians. There are no terrorists in India. We should hug them, embrace them and give them money, land and recuirt them in govt offices so that these 20 crore minority don't feel alienated.

You just need to look at state of our neighbors where affluent Muslims migrated. Another big reason is somehow India have kept Saudi dictators philanthropy off its soil.

At least not true in South India.
