Good ODI win, but pls lets not forget the Test series with this ODI 'euphoria'. There is major revamp needed in Test team (and some changes needed in ODI team too, else WC2015 will be a problem too).

I dont see what major changes you can make for the test team. The only change remaining in the test team is removing Dhoni from captaincy and booting fletcher.

I somehow doubt India will change their ways overseas Dhoni or not. But thats not to say Dhoni should remain. Problem is more fundamental in test cricket for India. You need better pitches in ranji for eg. Personnel changes i feel wont change things.

Absolutely. Under Dhoni's captaincy we've won everything there is to win for an ODI side. I haven't been following cricket much. How are we placed for the WC next year? Favourites? Strong contenders? Or have beens? As far as I remember, our test form notwithstanding, we've been consistently strong at ODIs.

So I'm not going to be overtly hopeful of a WC repeat win then. That will limit heartache if we lose. And I'd be all the more happier if we do actually win.

Difficult to say, it's easier to pick a loser than a winner in championship tournaments. I hope we have a plan.

Let me put this way. If spinners don't show up Dhoni will be clueless. Our batting will turn up more often except on absolute green tops or overcast conditions early morning.
