Marco Polo Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Good thing about his bowling is its natural talent and its not forced. Just like Praveen Kumar and bhuvi who have no idea on how they swing the ball but they do swing it whenever they want . This natural talent must be nurtured.

He is best suited for longer format.....worst thing as a bowler is to be a chinaman ..... very hard to control leg spin and on the top of it....left hand leg spin is even worst as the bowl comes back into right hand batsman ...... this guyz basics are really gud ..... T20 and ODI will make him bowl flatter and loose his guile ..... after couple of years, he can be fast tracked into ODi's and Tamasha cricket ..... Having said that, i would like to see him in Australia for this world cup ....

Neither McGil is 6 feet. For a leg spinner, it is good not be very tall. Otherwise, he will have to bowl flatter trajectory and wont be able to flight the ball much. Hogg isnt very tall too.

Forever Indian Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Very good talent. Leg spinners can go for runs occasionally, but the most important thing is he gets wickets. That too this is a T20, even Steyn has gone for 26 run overs. Overall looks a great prospect for all forms.
Austin 3:!6 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Kuldeep Yadav only cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to be fast tracked into the national side? 19 year old left arm chinaman bowler yet to play a first class game in domestic tournament but been selected for the national side. Tendulkar was the only cricketer who had been fast tracked into the Indian team without much domestic experience looking at his talent. Can Yadav be next??? Not hyping him but massive hope from this lad. Hope he doesn't disappoint me :nice:

G_B_ Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 its a different era i guess. He has played in the under 19s and has also featured in the champions trophy. There is a good chance that he wont play and sit on the bench.
