-Robin- Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Just saw on Zee news that Ishant will replace injured Mohit sharma
skindia Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Now mohit wc place secured with ashwin and nohit
tweaker Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Selectors should have tried Bumrah in this series
bowl_out Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Seriously... Even Vinay Kumar would have been a better option... Now, the selectors will get Umesh out of the squad when Mohit returns... And we'll end up with Ishant and Mohit in the WC squad
The Realist Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Was only a matter of time. Dhoni gets lonely eating biryani on his own. #onlyloversleftalive

Insidious Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 :wall: :wall: :wall: After getting dropped from ODI series in NZ, he looked like a different bowler. Bowled well in the test series in newzealand, and then in the test series in England, averaging around mid -20. Now just when he finally looked like getting his consistency and rythm back, these selectors forcing him back to ODI side. Why would you do that? Now he will get smacked around in these pitches, will lose rhythm and confidence, which will even destroy his test career. He has just started to show improvement in Test cricket. So please let him stay where he is, only Test cricket for him as per now.
Jason Voorhees Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Good choice imo. We need to test different bowlers before WC.
BeautifulGame Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Seriously... Even Vinay Kumar would have been a better option... Now' date=' the selectors will get Umesh out of the squad when Mohit returns... And we'll end up with Ishant and Mohit in the WC squad[/quote'] Well atleast now Umesh gets 4 odis to prove his worth
JaFanatic Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Well atleast now Umesh gets 4 odis to prove his worth Ishant will most likely play ahead of him
kosingh Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 When you replace the talentless with the brainless, you go from disappointing losses to frustrating losses.
Lord Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 hopefully its the changed Ishant we saw in England.can be an asset with his height in Aus if he does well
maniac Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Fantastic choice :nice: About time selectors realise that he is our best allround fast bowler and spearhead.....I agree he should not play every ODI and T20 but he should be used like Steyn and Johnson, playing only the important games and once in a while the odd ODI or T20 to get into rythm.....He should play every test.
BeautifulGame Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Ishant will most likely play ahead of him Nah Umesh will play Dhoni loves status quo
