But, on the whatsapp group to which I belong, an architect posted it; a doctor, a CEO, a COO, and a couple of software developers thought it was awesome! All I could do is scratch my head. How do such intelligent people (and every one of them is smarter than I am) be so gullible? This is exactly how myths are propagated on social media. Now, do I point out that it is fake and become the killjoy, or do I just rant on ICF and move on?

I used to get these kinda of forwards but i simply ignore them or sometime i say them its fake when its totally absurd...later i never get forwards from them lonely forever :((

Just because they forwarded it and thought it was 'awesome' does not mean they actually believed it. 10s of 1000s of people took the ice-bucket challenge, do you think they are really cared about ALS?
