In Adelaide going with extra batsman can be useful and let's hope rohit proves them right but on other tracks we might need to change things so let's hope they are flexible

on flat deck its more important to have 5 bowlers imo to take wickets. I'm sure Ashwin would have also managed on this pitch with the bat

He did choose a leggie and 3 quicks, knowing that all of them could go for runs.. That in itself was a brave move for me in his very first test as captain

I understand that trust me but this is track where no amount of bowlers help you There will be no bowling wicket in this series but there is difference between 500 run patta and good cricket pitch Also here spinner can play bigger role so u can make do with 4 as spinner can bowl more but other places we will need 4 quicks and it will be between ashwin who can bat a bit or rohit who can bowl a bit ...

Yes you can't do much here. But if you hit good areas then there is some chances of getting wickets. Mitch Marsh has bowled beautifully in this flat pitch. Though hasn't got any wickets but has been greatly economical and kept pressure on from one end.
