play both and drop Karn.Won't get more help than here. or play 5 bowlers
Attack of shami,Aaron and umesh lacks control and it too dependent on special deliveries rather than plan we can play only 2 of then at time IMO

Attack of shami' date='Aaron and umesh lacks control and it too dependent on special deliveries rather than plan we can play only 2 of then at time IMO[/quote'] agree. They all cannot play together in current situation. This has been an issue with our bowlers. Bowlers who have pace lack control and bowlers with control lack pace. Combination of both is needed to be really successful. Shami does not even have enough pace, he just cannot sustain it and starts spraying at 135K after his first spell which is unacceptable.

I would have Mohit Sharma over this Shami who is far more metronomical, might be low in pace but even Shami comes down to 135 after his first spell with spraying all over.

I don't care about support bowlers I believe umesh should be one of our main strike bowler along with bhuvi and ishant ..they all can be rotated with Aaron and others and Aaron can be 4th seamer ..shami and mohit both have long way to go and might be more suites to limited over cricket

In test matches, 128 k deliveries from a short pacer without any special ability to swing the ball ...won't really work. If we are looking for an accurate pacer then why not Pankaj ? He has the height atleast and is a bit quicker maybe. Even Pandey has height and accuracy. And is a better swing bowler than Mohit. The Aussie commetators have been talking a lot about tall pacers succeeding in Australia.

yadav should play the next test but we have to rotate our fast bowlers. We can't afford to make aaron play every test matches, especially with our four specialist bowlers policy. Since BK is already injured, with the tight schedule ahead, Aaron workload need to be managed.

Warner and co will treat Mohit as trundler. Shami is still way better than Mohit, Atleast he picked two wickets on that flat pitch. MOHIT is nothing but slightly superior version of vinay kumar. No pace, no bounce, I would rather pick kulkarni over him.

What About ODI's...Want to hear your opinion on it...I have told my opinion on this many times before
I always thought he was a better Test Match bowler than an ODI or T20 Bowler. He has not been tested properly in ODIs to say he is a good ODI bowler. ENgland are crap and against SL we can field bowlers from Tripura and we will still win. Having said that his fitness levels are abominal to say the least. Look at his tummy hanging out. I do not think he has been guided and instructed properly on how to maintain and achieve good fitness levels.

I had mentioned this earlier as well, the fitness levels of Indian Players is big question mark. I wonder who gives them nutrional advice on balanced diets etc. Apart from Kohli, Dhawan, Umesh and to some extent Dhoni... everybody else's fitness levels are a question mark. And this is the last series for Dhawan anyways, if he has not already played his last test, so even he will drop out of this list. Some of them like Ashwin and Shami are laughable.
