It was there for a very short time when Kumble captained in tests and Dhoni in LOI's. But generally India always believes in 1 man in charge across all formats. Having made Virat Kohli the new skipper for tests and with Dhoni getting no younger, we might see a change in era as far as Indian cricket is concerned. I do not think Dhoni will held back himself in LOI's and this World Cup might be his last tournament. Your views?

He is our fittest player ever so it isn't unreasonable to expect to play till 36-37.He will have plenty of recuperation time as well with not tests . If he is hindered by WK then can easily play as batsman alone too. Still one of the best player in world.Also he will want to play few more years to maintain his brand and commercial value too

But I hope he gives up the ODI captaincy after the WC. I don't like the idea of separate test and ODI captains- not when at least one of those captains plays both formats.
