No just England, South Africans too could not survive against him. Other than ABDV, no batsman was really comfortable against him. We have batted well against him but pitches have been good to bat too.

He did well in 2 matches there. SA pitches are always like that. Remember Wanderers pitch, if MItch was there, that wouldnt have been a draw. Also, I dont think he is getting hsi seam position right like he did against England and due to that, he is not getting the movement he got off the pitch and in the air last year. Watched those wickets and saw that he getting movement from a good seam position off the track mostly. Remember that Cook dismissal.

Remember that Cook dismissal.[/quote'] yeah..i remember that ball to cook ? but i think its also more because how far out of crease guys like kohli and rahane are batting and not letting it swing and letting him bowl full while english batsmen were scared and stayed on back foot .

in adeiade it was reverse he always gets some movement in perth but we are not playing there so i guess this is normal .. vs south africa he just bowled short

True. I don't remember Harris playing in UAE, India, etc. He always seems to be conveniently "injured" or "rested". Still, he's a better bowler than Philander who is far too much of a HTB (helpful track bully).

Good point. But even Saffers were pwned by his bouncers. Probably the momentum he carried from the England series. Most of our batsmen were very well prepared against it. He can come up with such statements that his pace has gone down but in reality our batsmen have passed the MJ school of bouncers.

The pitches in the first 3 tests have been a joke. Adelaide I expect it as it is the most boring wicket in Australia period. The other two were absolute flat roads. I'm hoping that Sydney has a better wicket. You have to give the bowlers something, make a hundred meaningful.
