I do not have any issue with what he has said. He is just repeating what his religious text has stated. What I am interested in seeing is how our "secular" politicians react to this. Every time Mohan Bhagwat opens his mouth, Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar, Digvijay Singh, Nitish Kumar and many other "secular" politicians find the choicest of words to demean whatever he has said. It is to be seen what they will have to say to this. And I don't mean some obscure party MP from their party disagreeing with these views. I want to see these people themselves use the same vitriol that they use against the RSS. I want to see these leaders raise this issue in Parliament and condemn Owaisi publicly. I want to see them jump on to TV shows and talk with the same anger in which they ridicule the RSS. Now, are they going to do that?

Won't happen........the only thing that might happen is that joker Ar-knob Goswami may invite Owaisi to his raj darbar and then proceed to have a joke of a debate......... This is just standard political trolling, Asaduddin Owaisi is one of the more sensible seculars (believe it or not)......he actually raises legitimate issues.......MIM largely caters to Muslim and Dalit votes........the party will never have pan-India appeal, but as long as they continue to divide the Muslim and Dalit votes.......they'll carve a niche for themselves....... His brother though......he is a different case altogether........no good cop-bad cop routine there........

I am certainly being spoiled for choices here - someone says I am Hindu, another I am Muslim, another calls me a Pakistani, yet another a Haramzaada. Oh and also an ISI agent.
It is sad to hear that someone is targeting you. Among all the posters you are the most humble, you never foul mouth, you are never judgemental, you never use any abusive language any individual of this planet. How can someone target a true gentleman like you. Please don't cry, we all are with you.

Who made that statement? No Hindu party (RSS' date=' Shiv Sena BJP etc.) ever said that [b']all Indians are born Hindu by default. What they said is that India being a hindu majority country is a land of Hindus. But they never questioned the existence of Muslims, Christians etc. And I completely agree with that. Does Hindu people get same rights in Pakistan, Bangladesh, other Arab countries like Muslims? They are treated like sh!t. Not saying in India other religion people should be mistreated but everyone needs to understand Hindu's are first citizens of India. What Owaisi said is absurd and a retard statement. Its like questioning everyone's belief and origin. But nothing more can be expected from Owaisi sahab who even pass derogatory remark against his own muslim brothers. Salman Khan goes on to meet Modi and Owaisi called him "Hara***". His brother (Akbaruddin Owaisi) openly criticize Hindu gods and religion. He was even jailed due to these political remarks. These people are nut case, so lets leave it at that.
Where did I mention that RSS/BJP said that? link RSS says all Indians are culturally hindus Swami from BJP says all Indians are both scientifically and historically Hindus. Since culture, scientific, history words were already adopted by RSS/BJP, Asad said Indians are born muslims... Also, you are ignoring that this is a reaction. If you say he is a nut case for this comment, I have no issues. Just that RSS and BJP have more than their share of nut cases.

Good to see the way he turned the table back on that Bhagwat guy..:hysterical: On a serious note, religion keep getting more and more prominence in public sphere in India and that is not good.

India is a union of minorities. If every fool goes around saying everyone is originally from my group, it will lead to trouble. Both owaisi and bhagwat are dangerous idiots.

On a serious note' date=' religion keep getting more and more prominence in public sphere in India and that is not good.[/quote'] I would differ on this: Few years back: 1. Religion was the prominent issue for partition of India. 2. Religion was the reason why a certain part of India wanted another partition and is fighting for it from last 25 years. 3. Religion was the reason why people of a certain religion were kicked out from valley. 4. Religion was the reason why Rajeev Gandhi bowed down for Shahbano 5. Religion was the reason why Rajeev opened the gate of Ram Mandir 6. Religion was the reason why Vajpayee became the PM of country eighteen years back. 7. Religion was the reason why movie like "Jai Santoshi Maa" became the biggest blockbuster of 70's. 8. Religion was the reason for large scale riots of 47, 68, 84, 92, 02 riots 9. We never had any media discussion on religious issues Now: 1. Religion is not the reason of voting a person or making him the PM. 2. Anti - Religion movies like PK and OMG are big hits. 3. At no place any particular religion people are getting kicked out 4. Religious angle has been diluted from the reason for demand of getting independence in Kashmir. 5. No head of government either last UPA or present government has brought any communal law or favoured any religion(except one odd speech of Manmohan Singh where he said Muslims have first right) 6. No big riots are taking place anywhere except one or two instances. 7. Daily debates are happening on media channel touching sensitive religious topics.

You have tried to masquerade your wish list as fact. One example is enough to nip your theory, never earlier we had a religious organizations chief was given time on national TV like that Bhagwat guy was given. It is not even debatable the way right wing people have got emboldened under this govt.

And do see DD Podhigai, there are many Christian evangelical programmes.
