Especially with the ball Hafeez gives the captain so much flexibility when in the field. Very very few players have taken Hafeez apart he bowls that nagging line which would suffocate the opposition during the middle period. At the top whilst no Gilchrist or Tendulkar, he was able to get them decent'ish starts something like 35-1 or 60-2. Pakistan can't turn this around, they could produce with the ball in a game or two, but without a single quality bat in their side how will they? Misbah is batting too low to be of any use. Hafeez vs steyn was fun. Hafeez might have played well against India but against wi he would a sitting duck. Have to windies bowled really well in first tell and pak batting technique didn't help them either.i have to agree with bowling but that was in subcontinent I don't know how he bowled vs South Africa.
