gattaca
I dont how we can compare strac and shami. Since they have played in different conditions. In this WC shami played on Aus picthes is effective but strac played on NZ pitches which some swing. Link to comment
cricketfan28
consistency is importanat .. pathan showed more promise than him .. Link to comment
JaFanatic
starc is much better :whack: So ? Link to comment
vvvslaxman
As long as he does well in ICC tournaments that would be great. Link to comment
RedFever
44% of Shammi's wickets are in the 41-50 overs. Saw this stat in the match against Ireland. Link to comment
TNAmarkFrmIndia
Too early to tell. He could end up being mediocre down the line just like every other pace bowler we've ever had, who knows? Link to comment
HippoSucks
Starc is easily the best ODI bowler right now, but that has little to do with what Shami will achieve. Shami is a fine bowler and considering we haven't had too many great fast bowlers, Shami may end up being one of them. Link to comment
The Dark Horse
As far as I can remember he is the only Indian bowler so far with an avg less than 25 in ODIs Link to comment
govinda
I think yadav will end up being an Indian all time great. He's got that element of pace strength and aggression. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk true Link to comment
Number
Wish he had ability to setup and out-think batsmen like Zaheer. One of the rare Indian pace bowlers who used to think before bowling. Link to comment
tweaker
How many Shami 's victims are bowled or Lbw.I think most of his wickets are caught in the outfit Link to comment
StriKe
It was Bhuvi our best LOI bowler 2-3 months back but he is not even in playing XI now :(( Link to comment
G_B_
has the potential to be however needs to improve his attitude to fitness. I seriously doubt looking at him that he is , his official age. I would add 3-5 years for his real age. Keeping this in mind he needs to be physically fit. This means hitting the gym and eating right. Link to comment
Trundler27
Shami had come up through the ranks of domestic cricket as someone who was a pure wicket-taker and i'm glad that so far he has continued in that vein in International cricket. He does have good variations for someone who is not very highly experienced. His slower ball is fantastic, his bouncer is pretty wicked when he gets it right, yorker doesn't seem to be up to the mark, swing is average, seam is pretty good, and pace is very good for an international quick bowler. If he can look up to someone like Steyn and try to develop like him then I can surely see him doing great things for us. Link to comment

Fastest to 100 wickets from India is Irfan in 59 matches. Can Shami become fastest to 100 ODI wickets from India? Link to comment
