Crookbond Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Here's the reaction most had. In fact. Gambhir has this reaction even after today's QF win.
Sidhoni Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Duh..it was a given. Anyone else who would have been surprised then is a pretentious pessimist poser because apparently they think its cool to not think that your team is gonna win the damn thing.
flamy Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Par for the course. Sheesh, act like defending champion fans :wall: Aus are serious challengers though. Very serious. So, the next game is the match I've been waiting this entire year for.

GrandMasterSaxy Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Lol when my friends asked me why am I travelling to Australia. My answer to them on Facebook was "On my way to Adelaide to watch the clash of minnows. err. I mean Ind vs Pak"

velu Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Other than bulbul No one might have thought we would win 7 games in a row Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 I remember a lot of people predicted us making a quarterfinal exit. Us winning 6 (now 7) in a row, which I'm sure no one predicted, and getting to face Bangladesh in the quarterfinals meant that we were able to enter the last 4. The real fun begins now. Irrespective of what happens, we have played brilliantly. Getting 7 wins and 70 wickets in 7 consecutive games is a tremendous feat by our team.
jusarrived Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Semis is the minimum I expected . Am not really surprised . Aus and NZ are clear favs . On these pitches India can take down NZ , but Aus at home wont be easy . I think we will going into semis with 45% chance against Aus

sandeep Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Its great we won all these games, but we haven't really done much to crow about - QF was almost a given unless you commit harakiri a la inglund. Beating "Bongo Bongo" in QF is not really a big deal either. Let's pick up a legit knock-out win, preferably against Oz, and then I dont care if we win it all or not:yay:
GrandMasterSaxy Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Beating Auz in Auz in a World cup Semi Final would be super duper great.

People said that they choked but they don't do that until the knockouts. They're usually flawless in the group stages.
Shogun Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I would've LOL'd hard and asked the guy to wake up
Sidhoni Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I expected SF but way things were going in tri series win was far looking even if you are optimist.Even now it looks tough Things were tough but so what? That's what supporters are for, to back the team during rough phases. Unfortunately most are fair-weather fans.
Lord Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Things were tough but so what? That's what supporters are for' date=' to back the team during rough phases. bowl_out Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I expected SF, but after looking at the tri-series, I lost hope... Again, when WC started, frankly the Mauka Pak ad cheered me up, and made me think of positives in ICC tournaments, and I regained confidence of getting to Semis.
Number Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Expected 3-4th place finish in the group and QF crash against Aus/NZ in their ground.
