Disappointing stuff from most indian bowlers.

The only delight was to see shami back and bowling in tough conditions with gud pace against quality opp.

Rest

Ishant- still inconsistent

Bhuvi- does well every ipl, thrive on grassy pitches and didnt run through opp . Got wkts in end but wnt happen same in int cricket.

Sran- when i see i feel he can bowl fast , he has a gud slower ball.

Yadav- done decent, looks at ease under other captains.

Aaron- didnt have the rhythem

Bumrah- looks like holding himself which i dnt mind

Sad Nathu,Jaidev unadkat, ankit rajpoot, shardul thakur are warming benches

BK has comeback brilliantly after that poor performance against RCB. Looks like he has rediscovered his swing and he is bowling at a decent pace of 135-140K too.

He had never lost the swing. Swing depends on conditions.

The reason it didnt swing much for him is his pitch map changed, he has been pitching it short of lately specially in Sa series where fast bowlers were ask to pitch short to scuff the ball fast.

Not only condition it also depends on batsman as well, u will always see his swing against sides like Pak, Zimb, SL, Wi whose batsman play accross line of doesnt move feet much . But when it comes to sides like Sa, Nz, aus most of their batsman use their feet and step out a lot which doesnt allow the ball to swing. His perfomance hasnt been gr8 against these sides.

Also i have noticed his release point has changed, he is releasing the ball early. All this talk by ex cricketers like manju is crap that speed has killed his swing , its basically his approach with new ball that has changed. Earlier he use to look to swing the ball now with new ball he look to dig it short n bowl length with it. IF u want the ball to swing u need to pitch it up, GR8 bowlers like Steyn zaheer in recent times use lower their pace with new ball n tried to swing it and when it came to old ball they increased their speed to get reverse going

Umesh Yadav bowled superbly today. He bowled only in the dangerous slog overs but returned with figures of 1 for 16 from 2 overs.

The wicket he got...he beat the batsman for pace and bowled him.

Bowled some good slower balls and  a couple of fast yorkers / low full tosses.

Speeds of faster deliveries between 136 k and 144 k.

He is at last bowling in a mature fashion in this IPL.

17 test matches in next 1n half yr 13 in subcontinet n 4 in wi, i feel he is gonna be among a lot of wkts

specially with reverse swing in sucontinent n lots of bouncers in Wi

His newly learnt slower deliveries will come in handy,  once in a while, in the subcontinent tests too.

also he round arm yorkers its gonna be lethal, hope he remains fit

Balls delivered from the side of the body are more difficult to gauge by the batsman. Could be a lethal weapon for him if he uses them in the future.

Dunno he always bowls well under guidance of wasim and gambhir. But he loses the plot in international t20s and odis.

Gavaskar saying that Bhuvi bowls at about  125 k to 130 k per hour.

a)  He is factually incorrect as usual about Indian bowlers   b)  He does not miss any chance to undermine Indian bowlers, especially pacers , and often manufactures facts for that.

Buddhaa kuch bhi bolta hai, ull find gems in his interviews. His facts is all wrong memory is all gone.

And then his mumbai school of cricket Raag ......

There was a time when he used to gauge Indian pace bowlers correct. He was one of the few who used to always call Srinath an express fast bowler, when others used to call him med fast.

Ashok Dinda bowled really well yesterday. Picked 3 wickets without giving away many runs. Speeds between 133 k to 143 k. Got some swing and was accurate in his first 3 overs.  Needs to improve his yorkers and slower balls to bowl better at the death.

Problem with him is he will play well for few matches then play bad for more matches..He played well for RCB as well for some time..

True, he lacks dependability...just like most Indian pacers.
