Harbhajan or Ashwin - Better Spinner?

No I read that Ashwin warned him verbally and I believe that. But it really should have been done through the umpire. Even Jayawardene didn't hear it, which doesn't mean Ashwin didn't warn him, but it may have been unclear. It wasn't seen in the broadcast either.

One came close in chucking
Ajmal has proved that he is not chucking and it was tested in chennai and you guys accepted that he is not chucking.:finger:

Why can't we look forward instead of recycling?
IPL ka side effects :cantstop: Typically it lasts for a while. Nehra, Bhajji, Tambe all these potentially futureless careers will be revamped by our fans. Sadly BCCI did the same with Bhajji. Names like Kuldeep Yadav, Shreyas Gopal have all gone under the radar. Once the dust settles down sanity will prevail.

Harbhajan's off spinner was fine. He chucked his doosra but bowled it only for a couple of years. His best years and performances had nothing to do with chucking.
+1 as you say, his stock delivery was/is fine.

Anybody who saw the first session today would have seen the gulf in class between the two. Ashwin IMO is the 2nd best spinner in World Cricket(slightly below Herath) while Bhajji is the 70th best spinner in India.

With all due respect to Bhajji, he has served india well and time to hang up his boots gracefully rather than making excuses on the pitch. As small correction....for me Ashwin is number one spinner in the world now (Not few months ago) closely followed by Nathn Lyon.... Herath is a good spinner but little unorthodox and in current form is behind these 2 guyz

Bro....Ashwin has to prove himself against good players of spin (SL, SA) before he can given any such tag. I understand where you are coming from.....but let him translate his new found dip, spin and drift (post Aus test series) into tangible results. Herath well and truly deserves the No 1 for now. Actually he is MUCH MUCH better than Lyon. As of now, against England (the team which toured us was decent against spin) Ashwin flopped. So let him erase that blot by doing well and by the end of SL series, we should have a good idea where he reallly stands. Ashwin vs Sanga is going to be fun. And what excuses did Bhajji make on the field?

The difference in class was very much clear. I guess this is bhajis last international match. But who is the second best spinner in india? we might even need to play 3 spinners as well. mishra? purkayastha? rangarajan? shabaaz nadeem? darekar? karn sharma and chahal has not yet proved themselves in ranji trophy. shreyas gopal and kuldeep yadav are talented but way too raw at the moment. may be shreyas gopal can be considered for 3rd spinners spot considering his allround abilities. main reason for selectors going back to bhaji is the second best spinner in india is no where near international class.

Chuckbhajan isn't fit to wipe the dirt from Ashwin's boots atm. The most ****ed up selection in many many years. He makes Jadeja look good.

Darty in the first half of his career avg around 26-27 if I remember correctly, which was even better than Ashwin. I'm not claiming that he's the better bowler, but we have to wait until Ashwin's career ends. Right now of course, Ashwin is ahead compared to present day Darty by light years.
