ShebbySB Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 First XI:- Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Ashwin Akshar BK Shami Yadav Reserves:-Rahane,Binny,Jadeja,Mohit What do u guys reckon?
G_B_ Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 not sure on Rayadu or Axar.... both are average players. India needs more... we need to keep searching Yadav as well i am not sure.
ShebbySB Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 Right now no better options...we can try Karn Sharma & Kuldeep in stead we're playing Bhajji.Need to build a team for the future.Guys like Kedar,Pandey should get chances.Axar can bat well & a better bowler than Jadeja.Rayudu has done pretty well till now avg of 46 in ODIs with strike rate of 80.The trio of Yadav Shami & Mohit impressed everybody in the WC.
rkt.india Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 not sure on Rayadu or Axar.... both are average players. India needs more... we need to keep searching Yadav as well i am not sure. also BK
Gunner Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 IMO The best possible current Indian XI: Dhawan Rohit Kohli © Rahane Raina Dhoni (wk) Ashwin Kuldeep Bhuvan Shami Umesh Reserves: Aaron, Sandeep, Binny, Mohit, Rayudu
Bigg Brother Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Dhawan Rahane Kohli Rohit Raina Dhoni Binny Axar Shami Yadav Aaron
gakgupta Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Pandey needs to be looked in.......very good fielder and I think he has matured as a batsmen
Cricket_Hacker Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Good team for Asian conditions Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Ashwin Akshar Binny/Bhajji Shami Yadav
adi B Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Yadav, bhuvi, shami is the best pace attack india can assemble in odis.
jf1gp_1 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Pandey needs to be looked in.......very good fielder and I think he has matured as a batsmen Really ? I'll confess only saw highlight and looked the same slogger type
G_B_ Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I think India needs to make an adjustment. MSD is not the same hitter down the order who can just come in. Raina lacks technique at 3. He can be 6. So we an option at 5.
HippoSucks Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Rohit Dhawan Kohli Rayudu Dhoni Raina Binny (backups are Akshar and Jadeja) Ashwin B Kumar Shami Yadav Binny definitely is ahead of Akshar and Jadeja at the moment because he is a better batsman than both of them. We need someone who is a good hitter at #7 and Binny fits there perfectly. And his bowling, while definitely worse than Akshar and Jadeja, is not terrible. Dhoni should do well at #5 too, once he is freed of his "finisher" role that he can't fulfill anymore. Rayudu may not be the best option at #4 but for now he needs to be in the team until Shreyas or someone else is ready to replace him. There is also the possibility of giving Rahane a few matches at #3 (with Kohli at #4) to see how he does. If he fails in a few more inconsequential series then he needs to be kept as a back-up only.
Kalia_Test Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 The BEST Indian team currently HAS to have Rayudu IMO Rohit Dhawan Kohli Dhoni Rayudu/Raina Raina/Rayudu Binny/Axar/Jadeja ( depending on pitch) Ashwin Bhuvi Shami Umesh/Ishant/Aaron Rahane can be backup for openers or middle-order
Pagalpanti Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 First XI:- Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Ashwin Akshar BK Shami Yadav Reserves:-Rahane,Binny,Jadeja,Mohit What do u guys reckon? They are filling the empty spaces atm. But India need more dynamic players if we're to maintain our reputation as a top ODI side.
PSB_Zone Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Rahane opening will solve most of the problems and we can play two spinners in sub continent.. Rahane Dhawan Kohli Rohit Raina Dhoni Binny Ashwin Bhajji Bhuvi Shami reserves Mohit, yadav, raydu,Jadhav
gakgupta Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Really ? I'll confess only saw highlight and looked the same slogger type I have see the match in bits and pieces....and he looked good to me....can someone pls comment on this?....Did he look good?
Pagalpanti Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I think India needs to make an adjustment. MSD is not the same hitter down the order who can just come in. Raina lacks technique at 3. He can be 6. So we an option at 5. For that spot we'd need someone like Mandeep or Pandey who can build an innings as well as hit from ball 1 if that is the requirement. Rayudu is a top order batsman, he'll have to wait till someone is rested/injured.
