What An Epic OWNAGE Given To The Team Management By Pujara

Was dropped for a batsman who was way inferior to him. It looked like he would stay out of the team for a long time. A spate of injuries forced him to OPEN IN THE TOUGHEST OF CONDITIONS (in this series - it may be SSC but the pitch and conditions were different). His captain had told the media that sometimes you need a player to perform a role and then go back to the bench when the rest of the players come back. He said it was a professional argument that sportspeople would understand. So Pujara went from being the most ASSURED TEST batsman in the team (who had a great chance to play in ODIs) to someone who not only lost his ODI and IPL spot but also his test spot. Today he walked out to bat knowing fully well that a failure here would lead him to be benched for the home season where if SOME BATSMEN HTB properly...he would be resigned to the bench for a long long time. While he batted, his partners CRUMBLED one by one. Bowlers threatened to run through the lineup big time. Things looked hopeless at one stage. His career at stake. He had to battle not only for his spot but also his pride. And WHAT A FREAKING PERFORMANCE DOES HE DELIVER. KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK. This has got to be one of the greatest BURNS administered to a team management/captain. Take a bow my friend. You sir have been astounding.

Credit where its due, he came through for the team under pressure - a lot of it inflicted by his own team. May end up carrying his bat - excellent performance.

He is SHOWING everyone what a big responsibility century makers have. Kept going after his 100 which led to a nice partnership with Mishra. Takes India to 300 almost singlehandedly.
I'm sure management will reward him nicely... by making him sit out the next game.:hysterical:

Either that or Pujara playing as an opener along with Vijay. Dhawan and Rahul sit out and Rohit's place is secure at 5.

It is a travesty to have Rohit Sharma and Stuart bunny kind of players in the test team ahead of Pujara...Pujara needs to be one of the prime batsmen in test squad ..whether it is 6-batsmen or 5-batsmen strategy

He was dropped unfairly he had scored most runs before the foreign tours,Even in sa he did well so deserved more chances.Allthough I do not like how much he has changed his game he just now strides on to front foot with no backfoot game which will hamper him in long run.

I think Kohli sees him as his opponent for captaincy role .After today knock,I don't,see Pujara playing again under Kohli captaincy.Kohli choices have been really amazing...Harbhajan,Binny,Rohit,Ishant,shuffling of,Rahane 's position

If Rohit got this score than people would have said "a stray dog like 135 doesn't change anything". Anyway still a great innings by Pujara. Hopefully he can continue batting like this so that India can choose between Rahul and Rohit and Pujara's spot is not in danger.

Problem is,nohit can't get sich big scores on difficult pitches.he'll do well on the flat beds in india but he'll absolutely struggle away from home ,he is not a test player.period.
