If we go with rankings, it might show SA but with current form and ability to play all-around the world, I would say England. although NZ is not far behind...

SA -- it's no longer the same team. Young Indian team beat them 3-0

AUSTRALIA - Pussy when it comes to playing in sub-continent. I seriously doubt if they beat Bangladesh in sub-continent conditions

NZ -- drawn a series against Pak in UAE (That's not easy)

England -- has been doing decent in all conditions. Definitely not invincible but can win against any team in any conditions on its day

INDIA, PAK - has to prove outside sub-continent.

India. We have a match-winning combination right now. aggressive captain , great spinner, good pacers, stable opening pair ....

Outside Asia we may not dominate but we will still be intensely competitive.

agree. After England it would be new zealand  have been the best travellers this year .Test traveling has become a joke. Aus trash everyone at home.Get trashed outside by England. India did show some fighting in Aus though it wasn't enough by a large margin. But now that the team is permanently in kholi's hands we can expect better results abroad.

agree yes India can srsly be one of the best test sides.

We do have few concerns but that everyone has

Wat xcites me is an aggresive captain n He has the attack as well

Every reason to xcited about this Indian team

N we have the team also for every condition

Sa- wud like to c them since i feel steyn will now struggle with his fitness, amla struggling, New openers. Lack of spinner

Aus- Well Johnson gone, starc unfit, Ability to play spin n swing under question? i doubt

Eng n Nz still looks quite ok

Pak Sl west indies well dont have the bastman to perform under difficult conditions

I would say that there is no clear no 1 team. Aus are clearly the best ODI side right now.

In tests, there are many contenders. India are looking strong as well and I expect India to have a good year in 2016.

The Aussie commentators did say during the aus tour last year that this indian team with the talent tbey have would be ripe and hot to handle after 2 years ,I think we'll become decent travellers again in the away leg in 2017.

Right now England, nzl,India are decent sides ,no test team is great right now

dont forget Australia lost to pak 3-0 or 4-0

England did lose the last 2 overseas tours pretty badly as well

5-0 white wash in Ashes and lost 2-0 to Pakistan last month .Even drew with West Indies 1-1

Its really hard to predict any team as best at the moment .Although i can see India Australia and England being the top 3 and fighting out for top spot for next few years
