express bowling Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I am very impressed with the steep bounce that Pandya is getting. He is hurrying the batsmen, making them hop and jump and bowling good speeds of 135 k to 140 k.His accuracy has become decent and he is getting some outswing at times.

gakgupta Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 What did Shoaib say ?He said lot of good things about nehra and bumrah and esp bumrah......he said if bumrah can get the ball away from right hand batsman.....he will become an Intl class bowler.....But when it came to hardik, he gave a wry smile and said .....this kid is very very raw......he has to put lots of efforts when it comes to fast bowling ..... he is going thru honeymoon period where he is getting some wickets Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk tweaker 1

Good pace, zip off the deck, steep bounce, mental aggression, good height, outswinger. He needs to learn bowling a good-length, off-stump delivery as his stock ball. Now he is bowling 4 or 5 types of deliveries every over...and if that is improved upon, he will look much better.As Rkt said, he is not a specialist bowler but a batting-all-rounder and is not expected to be as skilled as them. tweaker 1

Pandya returned with the best bowling figures among both teams yesterday. 3 wickets for 8 off 3 and a 1/2 overs.And...all his 3 wickets were bowler's wickets...an outswinger which took the outside edge, a bouncer which forced the batsman to top edge and a bowled.I have always noticed that international level wicket-takers, whether top pacers or spinners, usually have the ability to get zip or bounce or both off the pitch...and Pandya has this quality. gakgupta Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 jadeja is very accurate, never underestimate accuracy also he is mentally strong ,reads the batsman and understands his bowling so can come back if batsmen hit him.Thats what i meant.....i never underestimate his contribution to Indian cricket but i thought he should have improved leaps and bounds from last few years.....but he is more or less still the same ....."relies on accurate line and length"....spin bowling is more than that.......to start with1) lot of revolutions on the bowl2) beat the batsmen in air3) drift and spin
