Ultimate_Game Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) How come India is bowling so many no balls? Spinners and pacers both seem to be bowling no-balls. In T20s where even one no-ball is criminal India is bowling multiple no-balls and that too wkt taking no-balls. I'm sorry but Rahane's batting and no-balls cost us the match. With the number of no-balls and full tosses bowled, even 20 more runs by Rahane wouldn't have saved us. WC2011INDIA 1
Captain Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 No balls and Rahane's snail paced batting have cost us the match. Not too disappointed though as making it to the SF with half the team filled with mere passengers is a decent result. randomGuy 1
chewy Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 of course no-ball not acceptable. But feel Rahane's innings cost India match, 15-20 runs short, especially with 200 psychological barrier.

West Indies is too good of a team to not cash in against shitty bowlers + dew.
New guy Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Of course Dhoni's stubborn captaincy had nothing to do with it. We just got lucky bangla match 9 minutes ago, chewy said: of course no-ball not acceptable. But feel Rahane's innings cost India match, 15-20 runs short, especially with 200 psychological barrier. They could have easily chased that. Sammy was still to come
kosingh Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Rahane coming into the interview saying he was aiming for a score of 160-170, but got lucky to get 20 runs extra was a stunning comment. tweaker 1

The phucking piece of shyte! I don't want to see him near India's shorter format teams ever again. Yuvraj cost us WT2014 and Rahane may very well have cost us WT2016. With the next WT20 cup in Aus, I doubt we will have much of a chance to win a global tourney in the near future. What a golden chance wasted. tweaker 1
kruiser Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 What Rahane did was piss poor. Still 192 was defendable in a semifinal. Shitty bowling and field placements cost us more. no Sweeper cover for Simmons, No Balls, full tosses, overthrows, catch missed(the six by Simmons) are bigger culprits. If I was a padosi, i would scream phiksed! tweaker 1

If I was a padosi, i would scream phiksed! You gotta remember this is the same ground where Eng chased 230 and even Afghanistan got close to SA's total of 200+. The par score on the ground is 200 and Rahane was the one who was the difference. Of course those no-balls didn't help either.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 The Difference Rahane- 40 in 35 ball, Rohit - 43 in 31 balls = 83 in 66 balls Russel- 43 in 20 ball , charles- 52 in 36 balls = 95 in 56 balls And yes the no balls Wont blame bowlers much there was dew n small ground
Malcolm Merlyn Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Bowlers give away 2 no balls. And lets blame Rahane.

So you think Rahane doesn't deserve any blame for the loss? Do you seriously believe Rahane's knock of 40 off 35 deliveries on a pitch where 200+ is a par score is good enough?
