'Chalta hai' attitude. Every year people die in temples due to stampede...have they implemented anything to improve the situation? No....coz life is cheap.

More than life is cheap people also don't follow rules even if it's clearly displayed.Only option is to create enough check points...
beetle Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Life is so cheap in India.People don't care, authorities don't care , looks like God doesn't care either. RIP
ravishingravi Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 PM Mofi should ban crackers in India. He has my vote then in 2019
chewy Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 not first time lax rules regarding fireworks has lead to deaths. so many times i have witnessed fireworks done on roads, residential areas, office blocks leading to fire accidents usually caused by a stray firework or falling burning debris falling on dry vegetation or on plywood. and don't get me started on people lighting lanterns across populated areas i am not against fireworks, but strict rules need to be implemented and enforced with heavy penalties.
Shivaji bhonsle Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 One of my friend went to that festival 10 days back and he showed me a video clipping of the fire crackers bursting which was recorded so close to the cracker being lit. I was thinking what a stupid thing to do and today I heard about this tragedy. So sad..
coffee_rules Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Why bring god to man's stupidity! RIP..authorities and organisers are to be blamed
