Texan Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I think he can even shun his keeping gloves and play as a specialist batsman in all formats. This guy has all the ingredients that would make an ATG batsman.

From what i see,....he is good and can become one of the SA pillar but saying ATG would be little too much... He has his issues and short-comings

Chase Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) A very good batsman and wicket keeper, has yet to be properly tested in Tests though...his only shortcoming so far was the 2015 world cup, other than that, he has been quite consistent... Edited May 16, 2016 by Chase
gakgupta Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 like? He is a sitting duck, if bowl spins....esp in subcontinent test matches .... Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk
mishra Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 If you are making judgement based on recently concluded series then its too lil of evidence. Unless you rate ipl as c grade tourney, i m sure the guy aa got his confidence back. Brw wasnt abdv alao aitting duck in that series. He has very good foot movement, reacts way too early, has loada of time to tale his shots and on top of it he keeps. There hasnt been a single keeper who has showed so much batting prowess such young age.
fineleg Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 ^ What do you mean? tweaker, Jimmy Cliff and Rasgulla 3
maniac Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Agreed....pulled the trigger on his talent in 2013 itself but agreed ATG in the making tweaker 1
mishra Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Limited overs, he is a beast. Bringing the same beast in test cricket too. S Africa owes a lot of credit to him and Rabada for overall success in the test arena
