Don't know if you guys have followed cricket in Azhar era or not, but this movie is fictionalised as it claimed in beginning and how many inaccuracies regarding just cricket were there, you can find from this:

Azhar, a biopic or pack of lies?

Another which seems that it has targetted the youth audience who have not followed cricket in 80s and during match fixing saga.

‘Azhar’ bats for Azhar — and leaves everyone stumped

So just don't believe whats shown in the picture.

How did he get clean chit at the end in real life ???

In real life? You mean in court?

On technical basis. They failed to prove that Azhar had NOT fixed matches but on technical basis life ban was revoked though BCCI has challenged it in higher court.

Long story in which no one is interested now, not even media, after 16 years.

You can read about it though, if you want. Available on net.

No mercy if he fixed.. BS movie so hmmm

Biopic was an excellent opportunity to show the most enigmatic character of Indian cricket and how his personality changed in the later half of his career when he became a stylist man wearing top brand designer clothes, extremely costly watches, costliest brand of sunglasses from a shy middle class cricketer who was devoted husband, father and cricketer.

Why? What happened? How did Azhar manage this change into a high profile personality? Who was the real Azhar? Was fixing the reason? Was Sangeeta the reason? Did friends ditch him as rats ditch the sinking ships (film showed that) or was there a different reason?

It was a lost opportunity, this film.

Kapil is too big to fall.I am not saying that he wasnt involved but his moral stature was way above anyone among Indian cricketers of era (i.e Gavaskar Amarnath Patil) . If he was convicted, I doubt any one was clean

Posted

Indian government did not allow CBI to show Kapil's true colours to the Indian fans for the same reason Batman doesnt allow Harvey Dent's crimes to be shown to the Gotham city

if the national hero falls then the moral strength of the nation falls

How is the movie??

I didn't like it. The problem is bollywood produces so much shit that any product which is 10% decent is considered awesome. However the actor who played fixer was excellent.
