There is difference in language we use vs language used in India. for example at workplace In India we say Pain in back instead of Pain in arse.

I am not comfortable at times. But women have talked about sex toys and participated in conversations. Honestly they can be part of topic or they can just wait till next topic starts.

Also there is nothing wrong in discussing these topics maturely. It becomes uncomfortable when you start judging people based on involvement/banter in such discussion

I'd like to know how the interview began and how it proceeded to the state where Gayle started asking such questions. You never know maybe the journalist herself has played some minor role in it. 

 

While the Big Bash interview with that Aussie journo was plain fun, the recent one was cheap. But still I need to know more about the interview.

Now the question which simple comes to my mind is Reporter asking exactly same question. i.e

 

Reporter would have asked a question to Gayle along the lines "Mr Gayle, Did you had ever had three some?"

 

Also  not to forget that this interview was about sex and his views on women and Not about cricket

This reminds of sting operations in early 2000's in India, that casting couch incident. A woman deliberately enchanted Aman Verma, and later the footage was made public which ruined his television career. Maybe a trap was set for Gayle by these tabloids.

How do you know that? Also, in those countries, one does not need to be married to have kids. They are not as utopian as us.

There is nothing mature in that interview. It is very juvenile and with bad pick up lines at that.

 

And women may discuss bedroom stuff with colleagues and even friends, but mainly with other women. I am yet to come across any woman who discusses things like these with their male colleagues.

they do discuss such things with males, not necessarily colleagues. Females can be far more audacious if they are comfortable with someone.
