Yes. That's what is extremely baffling. Selectors always mix up formats. Yadav is test bowler but they waste him in odis. Aaron is not selected at all.

What are you basing that on?  Has Kumble said anything about this?  Kumble was always an "aggressive" player, he just didn't that many opportunities to be aggressive outside of India.  I still remember his quote when bowling with that broken jaw - paraphrasing a bit - hardly got too many chances with a big total backing him away from home so he didn't want to let it go.

Just watched Rohit in the tests in Australia tour of 2014/2015. If he did not make runs in those pancake pitches, really is a sorry batsman and I wonder how he is this lucky.

 

And Dhawan was dropped for the last test in that series. Looks like two passengers these two.
