Younis Khan the Pakistani Batsman used a very strange technique to play fast bowlers at recently concluded test at lords.He was jumping up and down moving all around the crease and meeting the ball with his backfoot still in air.

 

Though he didnt score many runs.The technique he used was,well interesting.

It wasn't technique..He is poor against pace.All these years playing on spinning tracks,he almost forgot how to bat on these tracks although it was flat deck..He was more committed to survive rather than scoring runs.

He does this when he's nervous and intent on "trying his best".  Did the same thing in the WC ODI game, but didn't last too long for his khel-koood to be noticed.

The way he played, it looked like he wanted to avoid being bowled or being given LBW. So keen on bringing the bat with ball. LOL, in the end he did get bowled off an inside edge.

What is wrong with that. Few shots were ugly, so what. There were more cases of ball nicking/edging past the English top order

Younus is bang average against quick bowlers but he's experienced enough to know how to tackle and fight on when situation gets tough.technique or not ,doesn't matter
