Left arm orthodox bowlers in india for Tests?

I know jadeja is doing good but who else is in line?

 

I have been following Indian domestic lately, Nadeem seems to be the only guy in line and honestly, i don't like him. He doesn't seem to be orthodox.

 

Axar has been limited to ODI's, which is a good decision......

 

Pragyan is completely off the radar after rectifying his action....

 

Flight, revolutions on the ball, drift and spin.....considering these aspects, who is next in line.

Muzumdar: Earlier there were spinners with different actions. In the 1980s there was Maninder Singh, Ravi Shastri, Venkatapathy Raju and so many others. But all had different actions which were natural. That is the essence of spin bowling - keep your action natural. I think now we are over-coaching some youngsters.

Take Harmeet Singh, the Mumbai left-arm spinner. When I saw him a few years ago in the indoor nets in Mumbai, he had a unique action. It was not the conventional action. His front foot would land with a heavy thrust on the ground. That was his skill and it helped him deliver the ball nicely. But now he delivers with a much lower arm and that is because he has changed his action. I fear we have lost one more good spinner due to over-coaching.

His story is a real shame, he caught up in the ipl fixing incident then never really recovered from there. 

 

Hopefully he goes back to basics and comes back stronger.

Isn't he the same bowler whom Ian Chapell had praised a lot? I don't know why coaches keep messing with the bowler's action. Minor tweaks is alright if it helps them be a better bowler but changing their action should be not be ok. Thank God the coaches didn't insist on changing Bumrah's action.

Woow...i watched the video....he looked f**king good...

Look at the tantalizing flight.....extracting the spin from the flat deck.....even ashwin would be proud of that bowling....so sad that BCCI / Coaches has messed him up.....

yup he looked to me the best spin bowling talent in the country. Failure of such talent is a failure of BCCI
