Sir why it is difficult to understand that bcci is free to decide what it wants.

Sir why it is impossible for u to understand that anyone in world who is following cricket (no matter even if its from ur dushman country) can have 'an opinion' about Any decision made by Any board; ur board to be precisely.

Sir why is it that when the decision doesnt effect Pakistan still Pakistanis have to give an opinion.

Why this begani shaadi mein abdullah Diwana attitude.

Interesting article about a 2013 study

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/11/131106073740.htm

Some key points

Quote

Decision review technology has added considerably to the cost of staging international cricket matches. Every day of international cricket requires an expenditure of around US$60,000 on DRS-related infrastructure, resulting in a total expenditure on DRS of about US$300,000 for a test match.

"The gain from using DRS, in terms of an improvement in the percentage of correct decisions (from 93.1% to 95.8% for the first Ashes test of 2013)

So in 2013 it cost $60 thousand USD a day and improved accuracy 2.7%. With the new cameras going from 50-70 frame rate to 300+ frame rate, hopefully the accuracy improves closer to 99%. However, I wonder what the effect on cost will be? That is a major improvement in camera quality.

Also has anybody seen this:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3551505/Owzat-Hi-tech-snickometer-size-penny-catches-batsman-edge-ball-don-t-revolutionise-cricket.html

Quote

Owzat? Hi-tech 'snickometer' the size of a penny that catches batsmen who 'edge' the ball but don't own up to it could revolutionise village cricket

  • New technology invented by Hawk-Eye designed to change amateur game
  • Umpires can use an app on phone to tell if a batsman should be given out
  • App receives information from sensor on cricket bat to see if ball was hit
  • Umpires can watch replays on their phones to see if batsman is out by lbw

Last time I  checked, accepting DRS   or nor accepting  it  ,,,,,both are legally  allowed.

Sir...I  rarely comment on what Pakistanis say.......but you are forgetting that this is an Indian forum.     You might come across an Indian once in  a while       :giggle: .....while  you spend your time on an Indian cricket forum     24*7.      Talking about obsession   !         :giggle:

Sir the on-topic bottom line is: bcci always had a Stupid stance and they were lucky to have foolish supporters to defend their stance all the time...

now u call it "obsession" :D call it interference in ur freedom of decision :cantstop: hindustaan k internal affairs mai Pakistani mudakhlat or whatsoever but actually the thing bcci is doing here is called  "thook k chaatna"...

(u did not mentioned who/what/where is this "express bowling" idea u got from? Stuart Binny may be, if not Parveen?)

TC, Have good time... :nice:

Sir...maybe you do not have  the ability  to understand what a huge improvement in frame-rates, that hawk-eye cameras  are benefiting  from  now, means  to the accuracy improvement  of the ball trajectory tracker.  That is the logical answer and that is why BCCI  adopted the hawk-eye  now and did not adopt it earlier.    Don't worry, not everyone can understand everything.        :giggle:

Perhaps, the  explanation  that you are looking for is ....BCCI is the most powerful board in cricket and can do whatever it wishes  and  PCB can't do anything but complain lamely.  This is not the reason but looks like you are looking for this answer.  Whatever suits you.

Sir...if we  Indians had " fast bowlers "  like fixer  Amir and trundler Sohail  bowling  128 k  in test matches...I would not have had the enthusiasm  to use my user ID.   Thank  God for our many  140 k + fast  bowlers  that the No. 1 test team in the world deserves to have.      :nice:

Awww, Stupid foolish BCCI and Indian cricket sitting on billion$$.  While smart PCB can't get any team to tour and have to go with katora to ICC.  Maybe your grandkids might be lucky enough to see international cricket in Pakistan, that's if the "non state actors" allow it.

That's wrong on so many levels, I'm not even going to bother correcting you.  You are a victim of confirmation bias.  Continue to believe what you choose, facts be damned.  This is the willful blindness of many Pakistanis.  Because the truths are just too inconvenient.

Nothing normal about a country that's entirely controlled and run by army for their own benefit.  Its a more subtle version of North Korea.  See the difference between the 2 Koreas? Unless the Pakistanis wake up and get their act together, they will end up like North Korea in a couple of decades.  They too have 'iron brother' support, look how far it got them.  But I don't see any Pakistanis waking up any time soon, they are too busy reassuring themselves by pointing out 'evil' India's minor short-comings to make themselves feel better.
