Should Mohammed Asif Play for Pakistan Again?

Sighting Mohammed Amir's "Arms Wide Open" Welcome to International Cricket, Is it only fair to say that Mohammed Asif should represent Pakistan team again, He is arguably more talented than Mohammed Amir, and if fit, should be back in action displaying & honing his skills against the best. I reckon yes.

West Indian Cricketers and even the Protea's have been caught with drug offence in the past, How many drug addicts you know have skills of that high caliber ?

He is a dope cheater a fixer. He has no business to be playing the game.

I'm glad India doesn't have this sort of question to answer with its players.  I agree strongly with the likes of Azhar Ali.  Those who sold their country's names should not be representing it again.  Sorry.

Another hyped bowler from Pakistan. Still remember the phainta Yuvraj & Dhoni gave him in the 2006 ODI series in Pakistan. He is just a poor man's B. Kumar. As an Indian fan I dont care if this trundler plays again or not. But if I were a Pak fan I would never want him in the side. Pak team as it is consists of 1 fixer (Amir). 1 druggist (Shah), 1 chucker (Hafeez). And you want more blemish players?? :cantstop:

Not far when Pak will feature all XI tainted players. Perhaps that will be true representation of that country :nice:

He served his punishment and has every right play again. Warne played after doping, Dravid & tendulkar played after a ban and so did Samuels so why not Asif?

It's a shame for the game to put likes of Sachin and Dravid in the same sentence as Asif...

Whether, he has to play for pakistan or not...is upto the pak board....but following question needs to be asked

1) Will it set right example for younger generation? One exception is still okie (M. Aamir) but bringing back every player who have cheated the country to intl team will not certainly set the right example for younger generation

2) Does Asif (or Butt) have the required skill to serve the board esp with age not on their side?

Its just a pak thing saying it there is no shame for Ten or Dravid in that and by playing cricket these things have shamed the game already so nothing moee to shame it.

Samuels was not banned for fixing.

Warne was banned for doping only not fixing.

Nice try trying to drag in SRT or Dravid. In front of them your almost entire team looks like criminals, some caught smoking weed in WI.Some mentioned in Qayuum Report.

Asif can legally play but a fixer plus doper shouldnot be playing international cricket.PCB keeps them out of even PSL.

Aasif looks like a low level scum bag, repeat offender, already 33 officially n he could be 35 so don't see him coming back n making a good contribution, Butt being a captain even worse what he did, they both poached on the kid M Amir, n should be made an example of.
