Should Umpire Dharmasena be demoted?

so many wrong decisions in this match. also in the eng vs bd series. i don't think he can be called ICC elite umpire anymore. thoughts?

Honestly barring few, DRS is exposing plenty of umpires. It is not just him, there are many like him. He got promoted as he became a decent umpire. But surely he gives lot crappy decisions. 

 

But we need to stop whining about umpires now. We got DRS which mostly is there to rescue when needed.

Exactly. We need to stop blaming umpires every time. It will look as if we are sore losers if we keep whining about them, like in this case about Dharamsena.

thats something for the ICC to figure out. umpires are human and we know they can make mistakes but this has become a perennial problem with dharmasena. if you are going to have this quality of umpiring, then get rid of the elite tag. theres no difference between him and an umpire for a school game

Dharmasena is rubbish. He almost gave that huge inside edge to rahul out. Took his sweet ass time too. Thought he would give him out

DRS is only 2 per team etc (even though 80 overs). So, it does matter, umpires can still give wrong decisions and maybe there should be 4 number of DRS allowed per 80 overs.
