Eh? The 50+ goes to his team total, and I dont think he plays "very slow". Usually at an acceptable Test S/R

I won't go that far. He is a solid bat and scored runs at many occasions when England looked in trouble.

 

Yes, his previous game 70 odd was over hyped when that was the time he was suppose to carry on and score a big one, and I won't term it as a brilliant knock the way many people called it but I think h has  been exceptional batsman so far. Better than Williamson so far and only time will decide how Smith does in India compared to Root.

It is ok to try Tendulkar with this litmus test as he and his fans are above it all. Root has long way to go to be alleged with "personal" milestone theory . Infact he hasnt even started that journey
