Shahbaz Nadeem---- next best to jadeja??

He performed really well last season and now doing pretty good. I believe he is the highest wicket taker last season. Why was axar flown in as a cover to jadeja in the last test? Axar is neither a good lower order test batsmen nor good bowler....Very hard to understand the tactics

Good spinner, and pretty athletic now since I have been seeing. Has regularly featured in IPL. But I do feel that he is one of those bowlers like MIshra who bowls better in shorter format of the game due to his line. Yes, he has bowled well in Ranji, but it will be hard for him to make to Indian team for at least a year or two now.

 

I don't think India will give a chance to any spinner with Jayant, Jadeja and Ashwin now available most of the time for tests. In ODI'S may be.

I was pretty impressed with Nadeem in the IPLs.. Not been following his domestic performances..

Axar in the Test squad sounded really odd.. But don't think it means anything..

Probably more for using him as  a sub fielder and getting him into the team training fold ahead of the ODI series where he will play a role. 

 

I think he's seen as a decent LOI prospect because if he develops, he can be a useful hitter down the order.  And  also a like for like spare tire for Jaddu.

Nadeem is a good prospect as he can flight the ball, n turns it also uses angles well, has some variety, can bat as well-tempered mentally strong player, his looks r deceiving, he has something about him.

They've already released him from the squad.. But guess he has made enough money for his lifetime already
