Improve your cricket or stay home, Ian Chappell tells Pakistan

I think his comments have been taken a little out of context. He was mainly referring to the negative tactics employed by Misbah and lack of any leadership from him. He seemed to be saying that CA needs to have a talk with PCB to send a team to Aus only if they are not going to be as lackluster as the current one. 

 

Besides, Ian Chappell is known for being extremely effusive in his praises but also pretty direct in his criticisms. I also find him to be among the fairest commentators from Australia in recent times. Pakistan team does need a kick to their backsides to get their performances in Australia back on track.

yup that was for me the diff between defensive test cap Dhoni and him, Dhoni did not get many winning positions during his 0-11 to Aus,Eng and SA, but Cook consistently failed to press the advantage home.

Chappell hates Pakistan with a vengeance...I still remember his commentary during the Pak-Aus game in WC 2011...Aus was losing badly but he was going after Afridi like he hated him with a passion  thoroughly enjoyed it though.

I actually want to give Pakistani the chance to respond to Australia after we win the Border/Gavaskar trophy comprehensively. Will be good show for us to sit and watch. 

 

It is a win-win for us to see Pakistanis going at an idiot like chappel. Chappel is one of those guys who has a great knowledge of the game, and is a brilliant commentator when analyzing the game but often loses it and is extremely strict like an idiot on someone who is failing to do something right. He needs to be humbled also.

It is not just the performance, but how they lost. These guys couldn't play more than 2 days of test cricket- they were mostly out of shape and could barely bowl or field after the first half of the day. Some of those second and third spells were painful to watch. That's shameful, and should be rightly called out for being unprofessional and pathetic.
