Australia have lost a grand total of 2 tests in UAE, they have also handed pakistan the greatest phainty in the history of mankind in 2002 at uae when they bowled them out for 50 in 2 conescutive innings. They were okay for 4 days in the second match and screwed up on the final day. The series scoreline could have been 2-0. I know could have, would have don't count, but the point is, the series was a little less lopsided than the score indicates.

They were okay for 4 days? lmao they lost that test by an innings even though more than a day was lost to rain, the only reason that match went into the last day was because of rain, they were only comfortable in the first innings while batting, once their innings was over they were no longer comfortable and were at the receiving end of an epic phainty by warner. They didn't give a tough fight in the first test either, they were destroyed in their first innings and australia DECLARED to set them a target, they DID NOT TAKE 20 australian wickets. They were 220-6 chasing 499 and shafiq and the tail played well because there was no pressure by then, the match was already lost, as they got close to the target, the pressure came back on and they collapsed again. If they had won just a couple more sessions or had 10 more overs to bowl in the first test, series scoreline would have been different. Yeah Handscombe might grind a bit but we should not feel that much pressure as we did in the Eng series. Anything less than a 4-0 with a few innings defeat is a disappointment.
