India have added legspinner Amit Mishraand offspinner Parvez Rasool to their squad for the three T20s against England, choosing the rest their first-choice spin pair of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja for the series. Ashwin and Jadeja had been part of the initial 15-man squad named for the series, which also includes legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The series begins on January 26 in Kanpur, rounding off England full tour of India.

Would have liked to see Kuldeep selected but I think his performance in Irani trophy final went against him

If thats the case then be ready for Saha instead of Patel for next test.

India's T20I squad: Lokesh Rahul, Mandeep Singh, Virat Kohli(c), MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Amit Mishra, Parvez Rasool, Yuzvendra Chahal, Manish Pandey, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra

Full of thirty plus year-olds and recycled material

The current bunch of selectors are terrible and just seem to live in the past

I think the selectors and team management sees Saha as the number 1 keeper and Patel as backup option so I am fully expecting Saha to be back in the test squad against Bangladesh

Now they will go with only 1 spinner in The playing x1 with raina and uv supporting..

Team will be

Rahul/Pant/Kohli/uv/dhoni/raina/Pandya/Mishra/Bhuvi/Bumrah/Nehra

Good! They Should have rested Kohli, there are a host of good young players who can play. Why play him in meaningless Bi Lateral T20's? Iknow he would never agree, but Kumble should put his foot down for Kohlis  and the teams long term benefit. Root sat out yesterdays ODI (he wasn't injured was her?), because it was pointless, that's the approach India should be taking...
