mancalledsting Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Pandya Iyer Kishan Pant Siraj Wow! So Exciting to see all the above guys in the squad- invaluable opportunity to hopefully find out if any of them are the real deal. Excellent initiative from the selectors, providing they start the game.
Sidhoni Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Should have just picked the same squad as Ind A for Bangladesh Brainfade 1

renjith Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Rewarding ranji performers is not a bad thing imo. It will increase the importance of performing in our leading domestic tournament. At the same at few players need to be selected based on potential alone as well. I would have liked to see rajput as he is the best uncapped quick in india. Except for that good selection. Overall selection commette is doing a good job off late.

Exactly it's good move . Plus shows how highly thought off he is ps probably fasted bowler in squad express bowling 1

Bleed-Blue Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 One thing i like about this selection committee is that they are trying out a variety of different players(generally good picks) across the teams, it gives a larger amount of players a chance to gain experience and not just the same select few everytime. This selection committee has been good in picking batsmen and spinners for both the A teams, practice matches and ROI squads BUT many of the pacers not-picked have been disappointing. despite so many different picks and squads Edited January 31, 2017 by express bowling Bleed-Blue and Forever Indian 2

We have seen so many one season wonders disappear without a trace, that's why consistent performers should be picked as priority. express bowling 1

The Realist Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 A Choke Dinda in an A team squad in 2017. That is just so
