Any example? If anything they would have ensured that team gets crushed in such conditions. Instead it looks like Aussies will completely outperform Indian team here. 2004 vs Australia 2012 vs England Edited March 8, 2017 by gattaca

Even in Chennai we were on course to win the match. 2012 - We won first game and then got rolled over. That team had way better bowlers and batsmen than current aus team and that was clerly our weakest team. 2012 is only instance we got dominated on turners. In 2004 Indian team was ahead of probably best team in history of game on spin friendly tracks.

But the captain role is important to keep players pumped when the team is not performing. 2012 we let the series slide. express bowling 1

Yes, they did not play up to their potential which is a different thing completely. This team barely with the caliber of SRT, Sehwag.

Just imagine what will happen when we play welll as well lol actually we know what will happen if start playing well . What we did to England will happen Even against England our catching was a letdown and Saha made way for Patel in the final 4 tests. If our catching were top notch we would have smashed them 5-0 and by much bigger margins. The potential of this team is scary !!! We could have a 80s WI/00s Aus like domination if we iron out the flaws.

The team did have likes of Gambhir, Sehwag and Tendulkar but these guys were no longer in their prime or even close to it.
