Vilander Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Timid lol hard to admit GB. Yes its phenomenal to come back from the first test, and Aus will find it tough to come back. But a few quick wickets in the next test could mean all the negatives come back rushing in. I wonder why parthiv is not seen as a batsman, i rate him too. G_B_ 1
Cricketics Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Can't believe you want Parthiv in right now. Mukund might not be great but deserves his chance. We can't bring Parthiv right now. He will be walking wicket too, to Starc. I rather give chance to Iyer if you really want to not try Mukund. But honestly I will give Mukund another go. Also, you said it is unfair to judge Nair as he has been on the bench for long time. So how is it fair to judge Mukund? Who also sat on the bench and on the sidelines too. I am not his fan either but Mukund should play another game. Also, you want Kohli at five? Why? No way we need him on five. Just stick to no.3-4-5 as Pujara-Kohli-Rahane. Lets not change much. Kohli just few tests ago was batting and scoring double hundred. It is not that he is struggling. Just has few low scores. Crazy to ask Kohli to come at 5.
OpeningBatsman Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Not a great fan of Parthiv, but since he performed well as an opener in the past 3-4 innings, I think he should have been given a chance to fail at least. (v england) As I said, I don't see much future in him, as he is not that young anymore too, but just having him in the team as a backup opener might have been good. express bowling 1
