So far i have only heard one person say that the umpires were previously alerted. And because it wasn't the umpires that said that i currently dont believe it entirely to be true.

I watched about 90% of the supposed 3 days it had been happening and didnt see any instance where even looking to the rooms would have actually even been an advantage over the information of someone on the field.

So i am sceptical that that statement of alerting the umpires beforehand is true mostly for that reason. But at the same time i wasn't really watching closely for situations where dressing room help might be advantageous. If someone else like an umpires had confirmed kohlis statement i would change my perspective and actually would believe that there is something more to this "systematic cheating", but since they haven't and no proof has come out to support it, i am naturally biased towards my team and support them until proven otherwise.

I also expect about 10,000+ indian fans have gone through every minute of the game in the last few days looking for their own proof and i expected it to already be out in the media if it was noticeable from the coverage.

So you actually think that Kohli would lie about reporting the issue to the umpires, knowing that he could be caught if the umpires are asked about it.  But Smith couldn't be lying to cover up his tracks after he was caught red-handed already.  Because.... Smith wouldn't lie, and Kohli's both a scheming snake and simultaneously a stupid liar foolish enough to go on record with an easily verifiable lie?  Yeah.  that makes total sense.  Much more likely.  Come on now.  I understand, like you said, the tendency of a fan, to support the team and players - but let's be honest, how much more convoluted does the "brain fade" cover story have to get, before it falls apart?
