I think prince is from BD. not Pak.

And?  Stupidity doesn't care about national borders.  "Rankings can be bought with Money".  Because Manohar resigned.  How is one related to another?  He's just another deluded Toyger who strokes off on this imaginary "rivalry" with India.

Don't u think it's u who's acting like an imbecile and ignoring all the facts behind his resignation.

He tried to bring true changes in cricket as his proposed model would've greatly benefited the smaller nations which doesn't have enough cricket followers to generate a good revenue.

Manohar didn't want to work as a chamcha of BCCI. He tried to make ICC as an independent body who'll work for the betterment of cricket not for the betterment of BCCI. Obviously BCCI didn't like it and bribed BCB, SLCB and ZCB to vote against the proposal.

The proposals did not really benefit the smaller nations that much - they benefited ECB and CA more.  But knowing that requires a closer examination of the facts, instead of just guzzling and swallowing the spin and propaganda that the proposed "reforms" benefited smaller nations.    Its an easy line to sell - BCCI is a convenient lightning rod to blame for all of the ICC's problems.  Not saying BCCI is blameless - plenty of stupidity and blame deserved on that end, but the "reforms" were a smokescreen for a political power grab by the ECB at BCCI expense, and Manohar was nothing but a willing stooge for it.  ECB and CA were smart enough to throw a few crumbs towards the likes of NZ, SL, BCB while they took the bulk of it.  But everyone only focuses on the big cut to BCCI, and automatically assumes that the money is going to "deserving small nations" - not the case.

I have no problems if BCCI share from ICC is cut, and the money goes towards the smaller nations - I just don't consider ECB and CA as deserving recipients of welfare dished out by taxing the BCCI excessively.  I have no problems with funding increase for associate members and the likes of Bangla, SL, Zim even WI.

Btw, Bangla fans need to seriously consider the fact that India have played a ****-ton of ODIs and T20s hosted in Bangladesh in the last 10-12 years - whether its Asia cups, 'home' tours, champions trophy, or some other tri-series.  BCCI has essentially bankrolled a massive increase in Bangla cricket's revenues over the last decade.  They have done the same for SL and Zim also - not out of charity, but as a way to garner support at the ICC level.  But Bangla fans are still myopic and foolishly focused on why India took so long to "invite" them for a tour.  Not realizing that BCCI has been showering their board with bunch of home games and the associated TV revenue.    Bangla board knows where its bread is buttered, and will vote accordingly - no matter what nonsense is spouted by deluded fans.

Now, now pls don't divert the topic. It's a proven fact that money can buy u a good position in Ranking.

The more money u'll generate as a board  the more no of matches ur team will get to play, especially at home, thus u'll have a greater chance of having a higher rating points.

Unless all the teams play the equal no of matches this ranking makes no sense what so ever.

yeah but you have to win more number of matches if you play more in net. its like saying Sachin is lesser than Ponting since he got to play more matches for his average, but the point is maintaining an average( and win percentage for a team) over more number of games is more impressive.

ok capitalist virtues...no free enterprise..no principle of natural justice no..common decency demands that India who generate 80% of cricketing Revenue with their ~70% of world population following cricket  should get atleast the 22% that they deserve, to ensure the Indian cricketers and fans are given their due.

at times i wonder where India went wrong with BD, its bloody frustrating.

Nowhere.  At worst, you can say some Indian fans are a bit patronizing - but most Indian fans actually view BD team favorably and want them to do well - but these positive vibes almost never survive interactions with deluded toyger fans.
