FischerTal
Despite so many troops being stationed for election duty, there is a recurrence in blasts across Pakistan. One can only ascertain that either the Pakistan security forces are completely incompetent and unable to protect their own people, or the more likely option that they are hand-in-glove with jihadis in bombing innocent people. Again, I reiterate Pakistan army's lust for power will destroy that nation. Switchblade

Gollum
I prefer military rule in Pak over this sham democracy, with a military dictator in place at least we will know who we are talking to. No matter who wins this elections there will be dual power centre there with the democratically elected candidates as the weaker ones. If you talk to civilian govt, you never know what’s the real intensions of Pak Army Generals...It has happened many times. You engage in talks and immediately after that a big terrorist strike happens. Now the onus comes on the Indian Govt to continue talks or break it... if continue talks, the terrorist strikes continues, creating great discontent in India...If you break talks, Librandus and Aman Ki Aasha chomus start blaming the Indian Govt of not opting for peace with Pakistan... Switchblade
Barkha Dutt on Twitter: As Pakistan votes, good luck to friends across the border. This time- in a first- no Indians were given visas to report . Nevertheless- here's my take on #PakistanElections2018- an election taking place in the military's long shadow.
