Pranab Dhanavade scored 1000 runs in innings in Mumbai school cricket

From cricinfo - His scoring was probably helped by the size of the ground in the northern suburb of Mumbai. Nestling between two housing complexes, the ground - with a typically muddy Mumbai pitch - is rectangular with extremely short, walled-in square boundaries. Abhishek Karane, a BCCI umpire who was at the match, said it was 110 metres in breadth and 135 metres long but the straight boundaries had been pulled in. Dhanawade targeted the shorter square boundaries, especially on legside.

Not sure if the Umpire is accurate. But if he is then approx 55 metres either side of the square is not too bad.

Almost the size of Eden Park

Looking at the scorecard, that Ayush Dubey kid looks real promising.... on such a flat track he managed figures of 352 for 2.... does he bowl 130+?

This is crazy, this match made the main page of cricinfo :giggle:

This match is ruling Twitter....one guy made a FC and tweeted about 500 tweets about this guy...close to 2000 followers in a day.

Looks like we found another vinee kumar ,tejas misar 6 overs 142 runs :cantstop:.

Anyway congrats to the kid ,amazing innings but what sort of team was the opposition? Surely deserves a relegation ,what were the boundary dimensions?

Well apparently the opposition lost by an innings and 1300 runs.... surely they don't deserve relegation for such a narrow defeat..... if you take out the 1009 innings then this match looks a lot closer

This kid will probably get into some IPL training camp with all this limelight

Don't really think any thing of that sort is going to happen....two days everone will talk about it...unless he does something special again like a 500 or something...

His team mates also played well(two of them hit centuries and one half century.).....and no one else batted. So how can you tell if it was going to be closer if you remove pranab's innings.

All I can say is the opposition was some chut team who got wacked and then couldn't cross 10% of the opposition runs.
