Kumble was not meek, infact that was one of the reason he and Kohli had clash and he got booted out. His Home average is 35 and away average is 40, Lol. One of those batsman whom I have never seen luck going his way, Lol. Always found soft ways to get out and was average against spin which lead to his low average.

May work for this current England test team to make the stroke players spend more time in middle... With regards to Root, I think it will only be till next Ashes and then they will find a young captain..

Lol, there was some fun talks of Fleming and McCullum swapping roles. Seems like may happen if McCullum ends up as new CSK head coach Lol.

yeah, agree. A lot of our young pace bowlers keep getting injured. So its good that the intent to bowl fast is there, but need to work with some specialist coaches to ensure sustainability..

Seems very impressive, hope he develops further..

One of Sundar or Nitish Kumar Reddy should play at 6/7. Hopefully they develop as a top 6 bat and fifth bowling option..

Sai Sudarshan seems to be working on his longer format game and results seem to be showing. Hundred is first game and 75* so far in 2nd game against Srilanka A. If he comes good at no.3, will be good for our test team as is a crucial position..

By having Iyer as C and Tilak as VC they have created an unnecessary imbalance in T20 team. Iyer was a decent T20 player only for a brief period, prior to that he was below average and only good in ODI format. So giving him one crucial spot in T20 team by making him captain was never a good move.

Atleast should have made Ishan or Samson as VC as they are certain starters in my book. But seems like they are planning on dropping one of Ishan, Samson or Abhishek..

Seems like Lanka Premier League. He was not getting a place in Tamilnadu state team so was playing for Tripura LOL, so seems to have taken retirement now to play foreign leagues to make a living..

It is only players who know they will not be picked in both Indian team and IPL who are taking retirement, so they can make a living from playing foreign leagues. What is wrong with that? None of the Indian players who will get picked in IPL will play foreign leagues, as the pay will be peanuts in comparison..

Options have become very limited now for middle order/finisher role.
