We needed 210 to win on last day of the match at Chennai in 2004 BG trophy to level series 1-1 and whole day got washed out. Eventually led to series defeat. 

 

 

Yeah that was depressing but to be fair Australia outplayed India in that series and a 2-2 draw would have been slightly unfair to them.

Doesn't matter. There was nothing more unfair than what happened to us on the '07 tour.

True, I still get upset when I think about Sydney. Buck *ner! 

 

As for the 2004-05 series, I think if India were 1-2 down going into the last test, they probably would have prepared a proper pitch and not that horrible dustbowl which made it an absolute lottery. I mean Clarke looked unplayable on that thing FFS.
